Gill made us feel at home so quickly that after our first evening, it felt like staying with friends. She’s a great hostess, and Alan, whom we only saw at the weekend, makes wonderful sourdough. I envy his skill. Despite many tries, I’ve only ever managed one loaf from my own starter. They also made a gorgeous Lemon Drizzle Cake for my birthday, which made the stay extra special. We had a super six nights at Journey's End and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, with awesome views from every window. When the Atlantic got lively, we felt snug and safe inside and slept well. My only complaint is the extra pounds from those gorgeous breakfasts every morning, especially the sourdough bread. We’d recommend it for Irish B & B hospitality, a beautiful setting, and plenty to do a short drive away. We hope to return ourselves.

We visited in November, so it was quite cold, and I’d love to come back in summer to enjoy the nearby beach, which is within walking distance. Gill, pronounced Jill, is the sweetest hostess and makes a delicious Irish breakfast. This is the cutest B&B, with amazing sea views. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean, with a large en-suite bathroom. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone after an authentic countryside Irish stay.

The views from our room were breathtaking, and the hosts gave us great tips for day trips, places to eat, and live music. They were welcoming and helpful and made us feel comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh homemade bread and croissants / scones! We absolutely loved this beautiful B&B and will definitely be back.

We stayed with our daughters, who were 6 and 8 at the time, in Summer 2019. They said it felt like a fairy tale. Alan and Gill were amazing hosts, and the food and accommodation were outstanding. We couldn’t have felt more welcome on our first trip to Ireland. We plan to stay again when we get the chance.

Cakes, pastries, and bread are all homemade, and the rooms are clean and spacious, with really comfortable beds. Gill and Alan go above and beyond what other b and bs offer. Sheer perfection. We love our visits and can’t recommend them highly enough.
