We’ll definitely come back. It’s a handy place to stay while seeing the county, and the house had loads of space and everything we needed. John, the manager, was really nice to deal with and couldn’t do enough for us.

There are plenty of forest walks nearby, and it’s easy to get to Ennis, Limerick and Portumna from here. The village and marina are both just a short walk away, which made it a great base for exploring.

You get lovely views and access to the lake here. It’s a great lakeside hotel for the Killaloe area.
