We had a great stay. The room looked out towards the Arra Hills, and waking up to that view in good weather was lovely. Bernie and James were warm hosts and did all they could to help. The location’s good too. My only small quibble is that the double bed could have been a little bigger.

Clare House turned a cancelled flight into a stay I was sorry to leave. Shannon cancelled my Saturday flight, and with hotels filling up because of concerts, I was lucky to get through to Clare House. Bernie returned my call and booked me straight away that same day. I’d only been looking for a bed for the night, but found a lovely room, friendly service, fun local pubs, and a homemade Irish breakfast. I almost wished my flight had been delayed longer. Thanks, Bernie and James. I’m definitely planning to return on my next trip.

Bernie was warm, sweet, and quick to respond to anything we needed. We stayed with our seven-year-old boy, and found the B&B very clean and child-friendly. Berni is what makes Clare Street House B&B special. She’s lovely, cheerful, and eager to take care of whatever you need. She cooked us a delicious breakfast both mornings. My daughter and I spent two nights here, and had a quaint room, a comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. Our time in Nenagh was delightful, and we’d definitely recommend staying here.
