The pub was a lovely part of our stay, with a wide choice of draft beer, cider and whiskey at prices that felt like great value. We also enjoyed the outdoor patios, a peaceful place to relax and share stories from our trip. I stayed at the Old Borough Hotel and Pub at the end of a wonderful Ireland trip. It was only about 10 minutes from Dublin Airport, which made it a convenient place to unwind before leaving. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully set up, and the service was excellent. A cozy stay and a top-notch pub made this a memorable choice near the airport.

A spacious, popular pub with friendly, efficient staff who help make it feel welcoming. It can get busy, but it's a reliable no-frills place for an affordable meal or a drink. Like other Wetherspoons, the prices are excellent and the portions of classic pub food are good.

The pub is huge, with lots of tables, and our food was tasty and came out quickly. The hotel was the main reason for this review, though. We stayed one night after my preferred chain was fully booked, and it turned out to be a great alternative. Our room was spotless and very large, with a really comfortable bed, big TV, good shower, and free parking. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies too, a huge extra point. I liked the mix of old and modern touches, especially the exposed brick walls. The staff were very good as well. I'd stay again anytime.

The food was decent and not too expensive, but it arrived a bit cold. The bar staff dropped off the meals and didn't ask if we needed anything else. They also left dirty glasses on nearby tables on the way back. The service felt completely disinterested, and the place could do much more with properly trained staff. The bar was busy, with the World Cup on and Christmas only a few weeks away. The area we sat in was lovely, especially the stained glass ceiling, though the tables were covered with menus, glasses and bottles. The one clear table had sticky residue from a menu. You have to order at the bar, so remember your table number. Parking outside on the Main Street is paid, and there isn't much space.

Four food orders and two coffee refills came to 14 euros, which was a great deal. It's a nice place, much like the other branches, though they didn't have the egg Benedicts I was expecting.
