The food was what made the day for us. Trevor and the kitchen team are really gifted. My wife and I had our wedding reception at Screebe House with our immediate families for a small wedding, and the venue and setting were absolutely perfect. Michelle, Mark and the rest of the team were easy to work with, and the bar staff felt like part of the wedding party. Anything we asked for was taken care of straight away. An amazing few days and the perfect intimate wedding venue. We can't wait to come back and stay. Roisin & Ger

The rooms were fabulous, the beds so comfortable, and the views amazing. We loved the cocktails and dinner, and the spa is a hidden gem. When my door lock gave me trouble, they moved me to another room without any fuss. We were happy to have an early night, but anyone after a lively place with lots of people, music or a late bar might be disappointed. The bar closed around 10pm and the background music was switched off, so the atmosphere dropped off quickly. We could have bought a bottle of wine and settled in the drawing room, but were tired and went to bed instead, ready to enjoy the relaxing spa day the next day. I'd definitely return for a spa day or overnight stay. One thing to check: the website says lunch is served Wednesday to Sunday, but there was none today, Thursday. We were hungry after leaving the spa, so it's worth checking lunch service and allowing for a drive elsewhere for a midday meal.

What a peaceful spot at Screebe House, with the ocean in view and swans gliding back and forth. Carley gave us a friendly welcome and showed us around. My friend and I got to use all the facilities in the modern Spa Lodge: heated indoor salt-water pool, fitness area, large sauna, steam room and, my favourite, the outdoor hot tub. We spent three hours there and I still didn't want to leave. I hadn't realised such a lovely facility was so close to home. Thanks, Carley. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

The grounds and scenery are lovely, and this place feels like a hidden gem. We spent the day using the seaweed bath, saltwater pool, hot tub, and sauna. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Afterward we had a delicious lunch, steak sandwiches and goats cheese salad. Emma, our waitress, was lovely. We had a great day out and would happily recommend it.

The food was fabulous and the staff were gorgeous. We were lucky to get the last rooms available, so I don't want to complain too much, but ours wasn't as nice as I think some of the other rooms might be. The price felt expensive for the room. I'd go back if I could get a nicer one.
