Elaine set a high standard in every detail of our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet, with top-quality furniture and fittings, and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a friendly atmosphere too. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner at nearby Lough Inagh Lodge was a real treat. Highly recommend this place.

The landscape around the house is breathtaking, and it’s completely quiet since the train hasn’t passed for years. Elaine, the owner, is genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful, and is happy to answer questions. There’s a cozy living room and a large breakfast room for guests. The bathrooms are spacious, with a whirlpool tub as well as a shower. My room was very roomy too. Even though the building is 15 years old, it looks as if it was built yesterday. Everything is new, clean and well cared for. Breakfast was plentiful and included fruit.

The owners are friendly and make you feel at home. This nearly new, superior B&B is clean and well maintained, with large rooms and a very clean bathroom that has both a shower and a bathtub. It sits on a hill in a great spot, with lovely views of Connemara National Park.
