Rose made us feel very welcome, and we had a great chat with her after a really satisfying breakfast. We only stayed one night, but the big house and spacious room made it a lovely visit. I also appreciated the thoughtful details, like the pleated blind in the ensuite and the handy hot water dispenser in the dining room. I'd happily recommend this B&B.

The views around Rose's B&B are lovely, with the River Shannon and lock gate nearby and boats passing along the river. We were very comfortable during our stay, and would highly recommend it.

I was in Rooskey for a funeral and stayed at Quay Rest for a night. Rose, who owns and runs the B&B, went out of her way to help my family and me. It's a comfortable place, just a one-minute walk from the Shannon River, where there are lovely walks and beautiful Irish scenery. Well worth a stay.
