Island View B&B

Just a few steps from the lively Shamrock Bar and the town centre, this B&B is well placed. The host was very nice, the rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and breakfast was very good. You can pick salmon with scrambled eggs, a full Irish, or eggs and bacon.

The hosts made us feel as though we were staying with family, and the rooms were cosy, clean, and looked out toward the sea. Breakfast was delicious, with a big range of choices: eggs prepared in different ways, smoked salmon for anyone who doesn’t eat pork, and fresh fruit with cream. This was the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. If you’re going to Roundstone, I can’t imagine finding a better place.

Maurice let me choose a room and kept my bike safe on the property overnight. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotless. Breakfast was so generous it kept me going until dinner. Everyone was lovely and personable, and they knew their guests by name. I’d stay here again if I find myself in Roundstone.

I spent five days here with my family in July, and the experience was wonderful. The family were incredibly nice and the food was delicious. It even left me wanting to open a bed and breakfast of my own in Roundstone.
