Sneem River Lodge Bed & Breakfast

We were cycling the Ring of Kerry, and having a secure place for the bikes was a real plus. Sneem is central too. The room was a nice double with a roomy bathroom, and there were pleasant spots to sit outside in the sun. Booking by email was easy, and Anne made an excellent breakfast. I only wish breakfast had started before 8.30, though I ran into the same issue elsewhere in Ireland. Still a good choice in Sneem.

We planned to stay three nights with my family, but liked the area so much that we asked to add another night. It was no problem. The family were lovely, and the room was just right, with a kettle and cups for tea. Waking up to the water view and seeing the mountains each morning was amazing. I’d recommend staying here for the Ring of Kerry or an Ireland holiday.

Ann was a gracious host and made a real effort to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were very comfortable too, and breakfast was excellent. Of all the B&Bs we stayed at during our Ireland vacation, Sneem River Lodge was one of the nicest.

After a tiring hike, this was a lovely place to arrive at, with a warm welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable and the power shower felt refreshing. Breakfast was amazing, and a big thank you for washing and drying my dirty hiking gear.
