Premier Inn Dublin Airport

The staff were lovely, and our room was roomy, with comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom. We were here for one night before flying home the next day. The problem was the noise outside: tuned-up cars kept racing past the street-facing room, loudly, until late. There may have been less traffic around, but the noise kept us awake.

If you need to be near the airport, the location works, and there's an industrial area with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. But if parking matters, especially with a late arrival, be careful: spaces aren't guaranteed and are first come, first served, even though parking is advertised for an extra charge. I asked about arriving late and requested a space, but was told it couldn't be reserved and wasn't offered another option. You could be stuck looking for parking. The general facilities are basic. Reception was small and cold, and the bar had little seating. The area by the glass wall and safety doors was chilly too. Carpets in the hallways and on the landings hadn't been vacuumed, and walls had dents and marks from chairs, with poor upkeep. We paid extra for a superior room, but I wouldn't say it was worth it. The room and ensuite looked clean at first, though the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. Only one hand towel was supplied for two people. The extra-large bed was comfortable, but its fitted sheet was too small to tuck in and shifted around as we moved; the mattress protector also kept popping off a corner near the pillow. There was one pillow each and no spares. The heating or AC switched off overnight, so after finally getting to sleep, I woke up cold. If you need an airport stay, I'd book a basic room and choose a quiet time if you need parking.

The airport location made our trip much less stressful, especially with the early flight, and the hotel was easy to find. We had a smooth stay from check-in to departure. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful, whether at reception or elsewhere in the hotel. Our room was tidy, clean, and looked well cared for, with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well despite being so close to the airport. We'd happily come back to this Premier Inn Dublin Airport (Airside) for a reliable, comfortable stay.

The location worked well for the airport, and getting a taxi into the centre or Temple Bar was quick. We really enjoyed staying here and would come back. The staff were so friendly and polite, and the service was fantastic. Our room was lovely, though the sink plug was broken and made things a bit awkward. We were only there for one night and didn't mention it until the next day, so staff hadn't had a chance to fix it.
