Back in February 2018, my friends and I were unexpectedly stranded in Tralee at the last minute, and Glenduff Manor had a room available. We arrived very late and were given a warm welcome, then invited to the bar if we wanted to socialize. We chatted with locals and had a wonderful time hearing about the area and Ireland, including the Legend of Fungi. Around closing time we met Michael, a local who had recently returned and bought Glenduff Manor. He told us about his experiences in the area. The staff and the welcoming atmosphere left us blown away by the Manor’s spirit of hospitality and kindness. They went above and beyond to look after us that night, and we’re still grateful. Breakfast was incredible too. That stay remains one of my fondest memories, and we still remember the warm welcome. Love from Canada!

We planned one night and ended up staying three. The house is wonderful, with fantastic views, and set away from town. The main Manor house has been tastefully updated with modern comforts while keeping historic furnishings throughout. Breakfast was top notch, fresh and made to order. The pub on the first floor was a relaxing place to talk with locals, but never so loud that we couldn’t sleep or unwind. Staff were caring and sweet, and the sweet pace felt nourishing. There were spots to relax both inside and out. It’s only ten minutes from Trader or Ballyseedy Woods, both of which I recommend. I can’t wait to return, and highly recommend this place.

There’s plenty of room for all ages, and the pool table and TVs showing different sports are great. The music was excellent, too. Lovely spot, with great staff and a friendly feel.

The pint was among the best, and the locals were great craic. It’s a lovely country pub, with friendly, helpful bar staff who are easy to chat with. Can’t wait to go back.

I slept comfortably, and had a good chat with the locals in the downstairs bar. This was a great little find for an affordable overnight stay, especially with those five-star reviews. It’s tucked away in the countryside, about a 15-minute drive from the nearest town, Tralee, so you’ll need your own transport.
