Fitzwilton Hotel

Everyone at the Fitzwilton worked well together, from reception and the bar to the room attendants and dining room staff. They were welcoming, efficient and helpful. The rooms were spotless, the beds really comfortable, and the food was excellent. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Everyone in our group was delighted we picked the Fitzwilton. The food at the Met Bar is so tasty. The Caesar salad was the best, and peach and pineapple crumble, what a delicious idea! How do they make vegetables taste that good? Hats off to the chef and team.

The location is amazing, the rooms are super clean, and the staff are great. The food was delicious too, and I’d definitely come back. Getting from the car park to the hotel isn’t ideal, since there’s no direct entrance. You have to leave the car park and walk about 60 seconds outside. Not a big deal unless it’s raining and you have a baby.

The staff at the Fitzwilton made our night away memorable. My partner’s from Waterford and had wanted me to visit for ages, so we were glad the hotel bar was showing the Super Bowl on Sunday. We could also get it on the TV in our room. The restaurant meal was very good, and the service was phenomenal. During the breaks, my partner kept going down for drinks and got chatting with Matt, the Night Porter and Bar Tender. He came back upstairs with the biggest grin. The bar was meant to close at 2 am, but Matt kept it open for him for another two hours, which was completely unexpected and made him so happy. Everyone we met was professional and accommodating, even though I can’t remember all their names. They do an outstanding job with guests, and we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you very much!
