Woodview Lodge Bed & Breakfast

Maureen really brightened up an otherwise dreary weekend. The B&B sits right across the road from the Breaffy Woods Hotel, and the bed, room and facilities were excellent. There’s a shared space outside the room with a TV and comfy seats. A couple of cups and glasses weren’t clean, so we set them aside and used clean ones. Apart from that, it was five-star! 😃

We were there for four days in June, and the quiet location suited us. My son got to try a full Irish breakfast for the first time, and the portions were absolutely massive. The rooms were cosy and clean, and Maureen, the owner, was helpful and very welcoming. For dinner, the Breaffy House Hotel is just across the road, or Castlebar town centre is a five-minute drive. I’d highly recommend this B&B.

Our host even dropped us into castlebar, which saved us having to get a taxi. The next morning we had a freshly cooked breakfast, and the rooms were spotless and spacious. We had a great stay at Woodview Lodge.

Maureen even helped us track down a relative we’d lost touch with. My wife and I had a lovely stay, and we’re grateful for all the help from the lovely people there. The place and its surroundings were beautiful. Thanks again, and God bless. Mark and Shannon Zerilli from Az
