Crown Quarter

We were really happy with how spotless the room was. My wife and I stayed on a Sunday night, and everyone we met on staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back.

The pub is great and the place is so central for everything. It might get a little noisy on weekends when there's music, but I'd still recommend it. Good value too, with parking at the back for €5 overnight. Perfect for a night.

The room was fine, but for this price I'd expect more than pod hotel level quality. It was clean, the bed linen was nice, the showers were lovely, and the place felt secure. The hotel is modern and the location is brilliant. Inside, though, it was like a sauna even when it was cool outside. We couldn't tell whether that was the design, the rooms being beside AC units, being over the bar, or something else, but it was uncomfortable. Staff were distant or rude, and most didn't engage with us at all. Breakfast was one of the worst continental spreads we've seen: a few apples, one croissant, a few slices of white sliced pan, two individual packets of corn flakes, and ham and cheese that looked plastic. We were there during the two hour breakfast window, but nobody offered us a table, tea or coffee, or explained what else might be available. The TVs had loads of channels, but most showed nothing. The lift was slow, and since you can't take the stairs, you just have to wait.

This hotel is part of an entertainment complex, so there's loud music, then shouting and doors banging until the small hours. If you want any sleep, avoid it. Read the description and reviews beforehand.
