Beit Elfarasha

My wife and I stayed here a month ago and found it beautiful, clean, and very pleasant. The old city’s sights are easy to reach from this great location. The owner and staff speak fluent English, which helped since we don’t speak Hebrew or Arabic. I work remotely, and the rooftop was a great place to get work done.

Being able to join the cooking class with local women made the stay extra special. The place is beautiful throughout, from the rooms and lobby to the rooftop balcony.

This was my third visit to Beit El Farasha in old Akko, and wow. I came with family and friends for the cooking workshop, and it was a magical, emotional, authentic experience I’ll always remember. Cathy had found and connected us with very talented local Arab women, who shared family recipes and stories while we helped as sous chefs in the beautifully remodeled Beit El Farasha kitchen. There were at least 20 of us, making more than five different dishes. We laughed, shared, and had such a joyful time together. We also got to see the extraordinary views of the sea and city from the rooftop, and peek into the comfortable, carefully maintained rooms at this boutique hotel. I’ll definitely come back. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for something unique and meaningful.

I joined a cooking workshop at Beit Elfarasha and got a tour of the space. It’s a beautifully restored building, with tasteful rooms and a stunning rooftop. What I liked most was learning about Beit Elfarasha’s work to bridge cultural divides and build a shared sense of community in Acre.
