Carmel Forest by Isrotel exclusive

We really enjoyed our time at the Carmel Forests Hotel. It was a wonderful experience!

We came to a spa resort specifically for the spa, only to find out after arriving that I couldn’t get a massage because I’d had an operation. No one had told us beforehand, so I had no chance to have one while we were there. It felt like throwing our money away, and we left very disappointed.

My bag was stolen from my room, and the reception staff didn’t even pay attention to me. I’ve never seen such a disgrace.

The outdoor pool area is lovely, with a larger pool, plenty of space around it and a superb chillout bar. It isn’t heated, but we had fantastic weather at the end of October, so it was a great place to swim and unwind. The bar had a good variety, reasonable prices, tasty food and excellent service. Inside, the heated pool, hammam and sauna were all in excellent condition, and there were always lots of warm, pampering towels. Dinner was delicious: starters and other items came buffet-style, with main courses and desserts ordered from a menu. Malinda was a kind, professional waiter who made us feel welcome. Breakfast was also very good, with some things on the buffet and fresh main dishes and drinks made to order. We could sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view. Our room on the 6th floor had a lovely view. It wasn’t especially big or modern, but it was clean and comfortable. One thing interrupted the peaceful atmosphere at dinner: a couple seated outside near us spoke loudly on their phones. The hotel has a no-cell-phone-in-public-areas policy, which is one of its distinctive and appreciated features, but staff only dealt with the situation after another guest spoke to the maître d’. I’d have liked the staff to step in more proactively. Aside from that, we had a fantastic, relaxing and pampering stay.
