The Grape House

A really relaxing, good hotel with four nice, comfortable rooms. If you're staying up north, this is the place to be!

The location is great, tucked into the alleys of Old Acre right by the port, with restaurants, cafes, and the market close by. There's free parking about 150 meters away. Marwan was kind and flexible: he hurried the cleaners along so we could check in an hour and a half early, without charging extra, and didn't make a fuss when we checked out an hour late. Inside, the one-room apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated, with new furniture, a comfortable bed, and excellent upkeep. It was spotless. There's a balcony, though it faces the building and isn't much to look at; it's fine for smokers or a bit of fresh air. The better-kept rooftop balcony seems to be shared by guests. The room also had a Nespresso machine and capsules in the coffee area, plus a TV with a converter box. Definitely worth the price.

We arrived earlier than planned, and after one quick call the owner let us leave our bags in the room, which was helpful since there's no reception. The place is lovely, quiet and well located away from the crowds. The room was very clean, the furnishings were high quality, and the price was very reasonable.

The room was large and very clean, with a shower. Just keep in mind that vehicles can't enter the Old City on weekends, even with a hotel booking, which makes things a little difficult.
