Desert View

We stayed two nights, on October 23th and 24th, at Desert View zimmer. It was a wonderful private apartment with a great patio and everything we needed, including Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. Avi Cohen, the zimmer's owner, was professional and very helpful. His advice made our visit more enjoyable and efficient. We'd highly recommend considering this place.

The one bright spot was the lovely couple we met, who helped us forget the whole mess. There were eight different cats stealing food, food left in our fridge when we arrived, and separate beds that couldn't be joined. The owner was aggressive and introduced himself as a policeman. We thought we'd booked a hotel, but got a bungalow with loud air conditioning and a sand ditch from construction.

Arad was a welcome break from Israel's tiring cities, which have plenty to see, art, entertainment, spiritual places, and modern amenities. The Desert hotel sits on a bluff with an incredible view, and Avi Choen's warmth is clear from the moment you arrive. His kindness and generosity come through in the hotel, and as a former police detective, he knows the area well and made getting around Arad more enjoyable. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with soft, welcoming beds, cold air conditioning, and fast, strong Wi-Fi. It was a peaceful oasis. If you're lucky, Avi is also a master chef, and his food is a ray of culinary sunshine. Say hi to Roxie the dog and her sister parrot. Whether you're staying one night or a few days, the Desert hotel is the only place to stay!

The apartment was lovely, clean, and in a good location. Such a kind, welcoming host too!
