Nice hotel, right by the beach promenade. Our room still hadn’t been cleaned by 2 p.m. on the second day, even though we asked many times. When we spoke with the manager on duty, she didn’t apologize or offer any compensation.

The hotel is in a good location and has real potential, but the room was in very poor condition, as the attached photos show. The service at reception was also disappointing from the start. When we arrived, Valery insisted for over half an hour that we owed VAT because we’d booked through an external site. I showed her the confirmation, which clearly said VAT was included, but she wouldn’t listen. She only recognized the mistake after the discussion escalated and I showed the actual credit card charge, which didn’t match their system. She then tossed us the room keys without an apology or even basic directions about the room or where breakfast was served. A front desk representative shouldn’t put ego ahead of the guest experience. With service and maintenance like this, I won’t return and can’t recommend the hotel.

The location is perfect, just steps from the sea, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Pazit, the manager, who went out of her way to help us make the stay even better. We had a wonderful time at the Leonardo Hotel in Ashdod. Highly recommended!

We brought a group of tourists for nine days, and the Leonardo became our home. The rooms, cleanliness, service, and food were all great. A really good experience.
