Oaks Hotel

We enjoyed the spa and massage, though construction noise from drills and hammering just outside interrupted the experience. The pool is on another floor from the rest of the spa. The hotel talks up luxury close to nature, but it sits in an industrial zone, with construction beside it. That was the view from our room. The room and shower were good, but the emergency light is in the middle of the room instead of by the entrance, and its green glow brightened the room at night. Breakfast was good, though the room was cold even with the heaters on, and staff were wearing coats. It's on the fourth floor, near the indoor pool, so we had to walk across wet floors. Dinner is on the first floor. The food was fine, but I thought the portions could have been more generous. We visited in January. The hotel still seems like a work in progress, and I hope things improve.

The restaurant food was great, and the staff were very sweet and friendly. Their Baba Ghanoush might be the best in the world. Easily the best place to stay in the Golan Heights.

The views of Mount Hermon are stunning, and the hotel has a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. It felt comfortable and elegant, a great place to unwind, with a swimming pool as well. It’s adults-only, 18+, which makes for a calm, refined setting. It seems ideal for families who value privacy, comfort, and high standards. One of the most beautiful, high-end places to stay in the Golan Heights. Highly recommended.

The spa gave us the kind of treatment we were looking for, given the location. Just don't expect the experience you'd get at a Thai spa or one in Tel Aviv. It wasn't cheap, but the price felt fair for what we got, and most of the staff were kind and welcoming. There were five of us friends, and we all had a great time using the facilities and getting treatments. Our massages combined several techniques, including hot stones. Afterward we tried the Turkish hammam, wet and dry saunas, and built-in jacuzzi. The water wasn't as hot as we'd expected. The pool is on the fourth floor, but it didn't have the vibe we wanted, so we skipped it. There's also a nice rooftop where you can enjoy the cold air, presumably in winter, after all that heat in the spa.
