Henry has a really nice apartment.
The furniture was dirty and stained, the walls that should have been white clearly weren’t, and the curtains looked like they’d come from the trash. The rooms and housekeeping were horrible. I don’t know who bought these apartments, but it seems they’re trying to rent them out at exorbitant prices at the last gasp. Nothing gets updated, washed, or cleaned. I can’t find the words for this place. Building 18, apartment 14, second floor, from the right side of the elevator to the end. Good luck to anyone giving it five stars.
We were traveling with children and had no choice but to stay, but I wouldn’t want anyone else to end up in this situation. We booked through Booking.com, then the landlady cancelled the booking, so we couldn’t leave a review. The apartment we got was the wrong one and had fewer beds than we booked. It was dirty, with hair all over the bed linen and someone else’s feces in the toilet. The landlady barely communicated and didn’t inspire any confidence.
Gan Binyamin 12 Apartment D6, second floor, Apartment 6. The shared pool was excellent, and the apartment had some nice features: a kitchen, two showers, covered parking, and a balcony. But there was a lot of potential left unused. It was very poorly maintained, with a broken chest of drawers, stained sofa, missing refrigerator shelves, no towel racks, a broken toilet seat, a curtain with holes, and a night light that didn’t work. One bedroom had an old, stained mattress left in it, and one bed had a mattress placed on top of a differently sized one. There wasn’t enough kitchenware for a place advertised for seven nights. We were lucky there were only five of us, since cups, plates, and pots were short. There was no toaster, and a strainer, glass opener, and deep plates only arrived on our second day. The balcony was dirty with sand, seed shells, and crushed tomatoes. We found an old piece of bread behind a curtain and leftovers from previous guests under the sofa, and there were stains on the walls. When we arrived, the apartment smelled musty and had at least ten flies. What a shame. The weekend cost 3900 shekels, which really isn’t cheap. We’ve stayed in much better apartments for that kind of money.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is about 600 meters from the beach, and each of the two clean, well-equipped apartments we got had parking in the building basement for a fee.
