Isrotel Royal Gardens All Suites Hotel

The pool looked great and the place was clean overall. We had room 601, which was spacious, with a balcony and a partial view of the Red Sea. The only problem was oily stains on the sofa, so we didn't use it. Even so, we really enjoyed our stay.

We were so comfortable at Royal Garden Eilat that our planned few days as a couple with our 3-year-old turned into a longer stay. The rooms feel roomy even at the basic level, and the hotel is clean, orderly, and clearly looked after. Staff throughout were friendly and attentive, and there was plenty for kids to do. Our child especially loved the sand pool. The food selection was good and tasty, too. One small annoyance was seeing some guests claim pool beds early and show up much later. We had a really good time and would gladly come back.

The pools were a big hit with our kids, especially the main one with waterfalls and the beach-like pool filled with sea sand. There were three or four pools, all shallow, which worked well for children, though adults might prefer deeper water. We also enjoyed the kids club, probably best for kids up to ten, and some of the shows were fun for us adults too. Our family of four, with children aged 7 and 9, stayed five nights. We arrived Saturday and got an upgrade from our family suite to a larger one, with a bigger balcony and doors from both rooms. It had a living area with a sofa bed, a queen bed in the main bedroom, a minibar, and a nice bathroom. We missed having a hair dryer, though we didn't ask reception about one. We had half board and liked both meals, particularly the dinner variety. There were lots of gluten-free choices. The coffee shop was a nice place for a drink during the week, but it was closed on Saturdays for kosher observance. I did wish there were an open bar or somewhere to get coffee or other drinks after dinner. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to families with younger kids.

The room had enough space for two adults and four kids, but the outdoor bed was in the sun for most of the day after the umbrella for that room was removed. That was really inconvenient. The electric stove also didn't work at all.
