Kibbutz Hotel Eilot Country Lodging

The kibbutz atmosphere is real, and it was great that the kids could run around freely. The room was decent inside, and access to the pool at the Splash hotel across the street pretty much saved the vacation. That's where the good parts end. The dining room food was disgusting. We had half board, and I wouldn't recommend it. Breakfast was a little better but still very poor, and there was no decent coffee. Paint is literally peeling off the outside of the accommodation. The room wasn't very clean and the bathroom was tiny. We also had electrical outages every day and had to fix the fuses ourselves because nobody there knew what to do. It's a shame they don't make use of the gem they have. With renovations and a better understanding of hospitality, this could be a very nice place.

A perfect family vacation spot. The beaches of Eilat are only a 5-10 minute drive away, and we had a wonderful Passover break here. The staff were amazing, the grounds beautiful, the food great and the guest houses really nice.

We had a wonderful vacation, and the free admission to the pool and water amusement park was a lovely surprise. The food was good and tasty, and there were lots of activities for kids arranged for Lag-Ba-Omer. I highly recommend it.

Kibbutz life at its best, with a great location and atmosphere and, above all, awesome service and people. I stayed with my son on a birdwatching trip, and the birds came to us. The rooms are spartan, but surprisingly well built, especially the unusually modern bathrooms for a kibbutz. Pool access at the hotel next door is a plus. I'd recommend it to someone not too discerning who wants a quality, safe and beautiful place just minutes from everything.
