Motel Aviv

The staff were really nice, and that was the only good thing about the hotel. I stayed in March 2021 and cancelled the rest of my reservation while I was there. I had chosen a lower-end hotel because I wasn't planning to spend much time in it, but it showed 8 stars on booking.com and I'm not sure how. I couldn't use the pool deck, even though I wanted to have breakfast in the sun. I didn't feel safe walking back at night, and the hallways and other rooms were extremely loud. I could hear someone showering across the hall from inside my room. I'd never stay here again, even if I only needed a bed, because I couldn't sleep.

The room's air conditioning was motion-activated, so it kept turning off during the night. It was 38 degrees, and we had to stay awake to make sure it switched back on. When we told the front desk in the morning, they just shrugged and said, “Oh, it's still doing that? Sorry.” The property is outdated and poorly maintained. It was a terrible stay, and they overcharge you. Don't stay here!

Back in February, I had an awful stay here with my family and little daughter. Our room felt like a basement, smelled bad, and had a tiny window looking out onto the pavement of a dirty street. We even had little friends keeping us company, as shown in the picture. I really wouldn't recommend staying here. You can find somewhere better.

The hotel was quiet at night, though there was some loud noise from nearby rooms and the courtyard during the day. My bed was comfortable, and the place was very clean. Check-in was quick and easy, so I had a very good stay.
