The staff were very attentive to my requests during our lovely midweek stay of three nights and four days. The rooms were spacious, the location was good, and there was plenty of food with enough variety for every palate. It was too cold to swim, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. One tip: request an accessible room in advance if you need one.
Breakfast had lots of different foods, and the pool was clean and good. The hotel has a newer section with new rooms and an older section with a more traditional design. We stayed in the old rooms, and they were fine, clean, maintained, and nothing was broken. Everything seemed to be in good condition. Parking outside costs 28 nis per day, from 9am to 9pm.
Our rooms had a persistent cigarette smell, and the pool situation was a letdown. We came as a couple with three children, mainly because the hotel promised a heated pool. There wasn’t one available, so they sent us to another hotel’s pool, which also wasn’t heated. Our hotel’s pool finally opened on the last day, but the water was freezing. We won’t stay at any hotel in this chain again.
The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, but the dining and service didn’t meet our expectations. We also found out only after arriving that the gym was closed. The hotel offered access to a gym at another property, but it was far from our area. When the manager learned we were unhappy, she didn’t respond or follow up. If we’d known all this beforehand, we probably would have picked another hotel.
I’m so glad I upgraded to a suite, it was fantastic, and we had a lovely stay. The hotel has everything you need, right on the beach with a great pool area. Getting parking was the only downside. There’s parking on site, but you’re not guaranteed a spot. With the parking app, though, there’s plenty around.
