Shefer Guesthouse

It's in a residential area, quite a way from both the center and the shores, so it's suited to a quiet stay. The villa itself is lovely, with simple but well-equipped rooms and apartments.

We were four adults at Shefer’s guesthouse and had a lovely stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed, including a BBQ, terraces and outdoor couches. The hosts were wonderful, and I'd recommend it anytime.

We stayed three nights and couldn't have asked for more. The apartments were spacious and well equipped, Mr. Mosher was kind and helpful, and the price was really convenient compared with the average in Eilat. He even lent us olive oil for cooking and gave us lots of advice. We had an amazing three days, and he really saved us. We'd arrived in Eilat with a small house near the Coral beach booked, but it turned out to be too cramped for six people. It was really high season, so we needed to find somewhere available right then. We spotted Shefer Gueshouse on Booking.com, but weren't sure there'd be enough room, so we called the owner, Mr. Mosher. He was very kind and invited us to see the house before deciding. He and his son showed us around. Upstairs, there was a roomy apartment for five with a bathroom and kitchen. A few steps led to a middle terrace with a BBQ, plus a door into another small apartment for two, also with a kitchen and bathroom. Stairs from that terrace went up to the top terrace, which had an amazing view over the whole Eilat bay. All the apartments came with towels, sheets and the kitchen tools you need to cook. There's no private parking, but we could leave the car on the street by the entrance for free.

The host was welcoming and flexible, and the place was both clean and very affordable.
