Being right on the beach was the one real plus: we could get to the sand without crossing a road. The rest of the stay was a huge letdown. The sea-view room looked mostly onto noisy tennis courts, with only a limited view of the water. The doors were mouldy, maintenance was poor, and the pool was cold, with no sauna or hot tub. The price felt far too high for what was provided. The worst part was the overpowering chemical fragrance throughout the hotel, even in the dining room. The hotel calls it its "signature scent" and seems proud of it, but we suffered adverse health effects from the indoor air. We left after one night for the nearby Isrotel Yam Suf across the road. It was better and less expensive, with beautiful sea and mountain views, good service, and an elegant atmosphere. There, we could enjoy the sea breeze without that sickening synthetic smell.

Alon and Slava at reception were especially helpful and kind, and the rest of the staff made a real effort too. Service was the standout for us. The hotel is clean and sits in a lively, fun area, though it isn't especially luxurious. We also enjoyed the generous breakfast, with plenty of fresh, tasty choices, freshly squeezed juice, and all sorts of coffee. Direct beach access came with complimentary kayaking and surfing gear, which was a great extra. Our stay went beyond what we expected. Highly recommended.

The staff made this family holiday feel easy from start to finish. From reception through to housekeeping, people were smiling, quick to help, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the breakfast was great. We just finished a perfect vacation at the reef hotel in eilat. The location was perfect too. Highly recommended!!!

The pool was amazing, and the rooms were spacious. I also liked that there weren't any bathtubs. The place was clean and close to all the fun activities we wanted to do, plus more. Breakfast was delicious. One small thing they could add is a clock by the pool, so people can check the time without getting out of the water to look at a watch or phone. We stayed here on a family vacation.
