The rooms are large and comfortable, and the food is okay with plenty of choice. Breakfast was better than lunch. The location is great, with a private beach and the shopping mall close by. Not all facilities are working: the hamam and solarium are out of operation. Two other pools are great, but need basic maintenance.

The landscaping is beautiful and the Dead Sea view is right there, with no road to cross to get to the public beach. There’s real potential here, but our room walls were covered with squashed mosquitoes, and we were on the second floor with no elevator. The outdoor pool wasn’t heated, and the indoor pools could have been better maintained. Service ranged from bad to horrible, and the coffee was some of the worst I’ve tasted. Breakfast was mediocre and didn’t measure up to Israeli hotel breakfasts. I wouldn’t return or choose this chain again.

There was a big range of food in the dining area, though most dishes weren’t very tasty or good quality. The hotel needs renovation and looks a bit neglected. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. Marina, the evening manager, deserves a special mention for really caring about guests’ experience. She made my stay better.

The location is the best part: the pool and beach are only a couple of meters apart. I’ve never seen anything like it. The private beach is quiet, easy to reach, and simply perfect. The pool itself is nice and standard, but there aren’t enough seats or shade for everyone. You have to save a spot before breakfast, which sucks. Food was very good, though not top class. We talked with the sous-chef about vegetarian options, which were good but not great. The rooms weren’t good enough. Every room ending in 3 has a hidden bathroom door to the machine rooms, and it makes a lot of noise. Our air conditioner stopped in the middle of the night, so we had to move rooms then. We asked nicely twice for compensation and got none. That’s why my score is low.
