The food was delicious, plentiful, kosher mehadrin, and had lots of choices. Even with three events happening at once and a crowded dining room, things worked out. The rooms are plain rather than upscale, but comfortable and practical, with shaded patios and tables and chairs, just right for a beach stay. We loved the sunset from the two stone piers reaching out over the water. The little private beach is sheltered, with cushioned wigwam-style tents behind it and shaded chairs nearer the shore. There’s a Gymboree for rainy or very hot days, plus a playground for nicer weather. A lovely spot for an easy family break at any age. The staff were a bit disorganized, though they did try to help and were patient with my tricky booking of five rooms: two for couples with toddlers, and one using a miluimnik voucher. There were a couple of problems in two rooms, including a toilet that wouldn’t flush, but the handyman came to sort them out. I’ve seen last year’s negative reviews, and that response seems reasonable. The hotel has a new manager. I’d happily recommend it and hope we can come back next year.

I asked three times for towels and none ever arrived. Water from the bathroom flooded my room, and the rooms were small and poorly maintained, with things coming apart. The beach area was neglected too. There were cats outside our room, on the tables, and the whole place felt filthy and gross. The food was disgusting, and lots of guests seemed to be complaining at the front desk. I can't see how the positive reviews could be real. One of our worst hotel stays in Israel.

We came for the weekend with a few other families, and the sea view from the grassy area was about the only good part. The beach itself was rocky, dirty, and covered in trash. My daughter badly cut her foot on glass as soon as we got there. The rooms were extremely dirty, with cheap, worn-out mattresses, and the construction felt shoddy, like everything was falling apart or thrown together. For what they provide, the price is the same as a high-end hotel. I don't think anywhere should be able to charge that much for this. The good reviews must be fake. I can't imagine anyone honestly rating this place well.

WiFi didn’t work, and there were broken glasses around the yard. Our rooms were filthy, there were no towels, and we never got the extras we’d ordered in advance. Terrible, stay away.

Our group of 30 spent a long weekend at the Daria village, right on the Kinnereth beach. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and there was a great choice of food at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were very good and responded quickly whenever someone in our group asked for something. It’s a beautiful beach and a real break from everyday life. I’d recommend it to families or groups, and the value for money was great.
