At this price, I expected a lot more. The place felt closer to a motel (hostel) than a hotel, more like a 2-3 star stay billed at five-star rates. The room was quite dated, and the food was mediocre at best. A few dishes were good, but they ran out quickly. Tables weren’t cleared between courses, so dishes piled up, and the dining area felt neglected. Much of the service was handled by high schoolers instead of trained staff, and it showed. The gym was in very poor shape, with broken equipment, a bad smell, and no proper ventilation. The Shabbat lighting system didn’t work right, and reception didn’t really follow our instructions. There was no room cleaning in the morning either, which made the stay feel more like an Airbnb.

The beds were a little narrow, and whenever we turned over it felt like we might roll off. That could use a small improvement. Also, when we arrived around 10 PM, the bar was closed and there was nowhere to get water or a snack. A vending machine would help late arrivals. Still, we really enjoyed our stay and it was a great part of our Israel trip. Breakfast was excellent, and the view from the porch was beautiful. Thanks!

The food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were kind and helpful. Kibbutz Lavi Hotel has a lovely, peaceful setting, with greenery and open views all around. It had a warm, calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax. I really enjoyed being there and would gladly come back.

The hotel mostly serves a more "frum" clientele, with separate pool and gym times for men and women. That was outside our comfort zone, but Honey and her team did everything they could to help us feel at ease. Honey, the Front Desk Manager at Kibbutz Lavi Hotel, was warm, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and supported. Her professionalism and compassion left a lasting impression, and we’re truly grateful for her care.

A great place to stay in Northern Israel with the family. The breakfasts and dinners are tasty, plentiful, and very good value. The Kosher Certification is excellent.
