Our booking for seven people, made through booking.com months earlier, was cancelled by the host on the morning we were due to arrive. They didn’t reply to emails or answer the phone, so we couldn’t reach them. After an angry search, we found another place that was much nicer anyway. I wouldn’t recommend "The HaNevi'im Residence". They left seven people without accommodation at the last minute and gave no valid reason.

The location was good, but the apartment was in poor shape. The balconies were filthy, the furniture had stains everywhere, the blankets were old, and the place needed better cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. I had to switch apartments twice before getting a decent one, and still had to clean it myself.

They cancelled our reservation three days before arrival and never answered our emails or texts. I’d arranged a small event for 20 people, and their unprofessional handling meant I had to cancel the whole thing. Don’t make my mistake, check the reviews before booking.

We couldn’t even park when we arrived, and then had to wait nearly an hour just to leave our luggage before waiting for housekeeping. The place was still occupied at 5 pm, though the booking page said check-in was at 3. The owner didn’t keep their word, which was awful. Losing so much time like that is especially frustrating when you’re trying to see the city.
