Metula Mansion

The rooms were cleaned and put in good order, and Zvika the father did what he could to help us. He even took us on a lovely tour of the settlement. We had rented four rooms for four couples, with an average age of 60+, and I can understand that the owner was away on vacation, but the grounds still need proper upkeep if guests are to want to return. I was hoping to come back and see the problems fixed. There are eight B&Bs in the complex, plus a kitchen and fully equipped dining room, a jacuzzi, sauna, and a big yard. But between guests, the place apparently wasn't prepared in time, so the outside areas were neglected. The barbecue area, with 11 barbecues, was quite dirty, and there was junk and dirt all along the back of the B&B.

Terry was lovely and always around when we needed something. They also suggested places to visit nearby. We stayed five days with three families, including two couples with two kids and another couple with three little ones, and it worked out perfectly. The rooms felt cozy, with a kitchenette in each unit. There was a huge yard with a barbecue area, sauna, jacuzzi, kids' facilities, and a tiny pool, plus a big dining room with a well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommended!

The dining room is a real gathering spot, with a large, roomy space and a well-equipped kitchen. The place has a rural, kibbutz-like feel, and the children had a great time. There's grassy space between the rooms with swings and hammocks, along with wooden tables and chairs and a big jacuzzi that both kids and adults used as a pool. The rooms are pleasant enough, with air conditioning, a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and a jacuzzi tub, though they are small and so are the beds, which was a real drawback. There's also a small grocery store open late, including Friday and Saturday. It's a nice, cozy place in Metula, and we'd recommend friends stay here.

The rooms are small, with small beds, older equipment, and a cleanliness level that was way below acceptable, with dust, cobwebs, and dirt. The kitchen area in the room is small but adequate. Outside, the place is quiet and pleasant, with grass between the units, a jacuzzi, and a barbecue area. For the price, it was okay if you can live with the room cleanliness. That's about it.
