The rooms were spacious and renovated, and it was quiet. The jacuzzi was a nice feature, though it took a while for the water to heat up. Even so, at 500 USD for two nights, I wouldn’t return. It felt more like a motel than a hotel, and wasn’t worth the price to me. We came as a couple with a child, hoping for a break from the sirens, and things were disappointing almost from the start. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at the 3 pm check-in time. The photos on the website and Booking.com looked very different from the actual place, as you can see in the attached photos. Most of the grounds were under construction, including the pool area, bar, and lounge area. There was garbage around. When I asked the receptionist why it was like that and why the website didn’t mention it, he smiled and said I could speak to the manager if I wanted. I’d called before booking and asked whether the pool area was open, but the woman on the phone didn’t mention construction. She only said it wasn’t the season. Breakfast was served in the lobby by reception, where space was very limited, and the tables were often dirty with food crumbs. Tea, coffee, milk, fruit, and cake were available all day, but the milk in my coffee had gone off. On the second morning there were no eggs because they hadn’t gotten any. The jacuzzi area was dirty too, with a plastic cup and sunflower seeds lying around.

It was a peaceful desert getaway, and the grounds were lovely since it was off season. The staff were kind and helpful, and the food was great, thanks Mao! Best of all, it’s dog friendly. Hero had such a good time, and I’m so glad Jacob hotel has a place I can visit with my dog. We’ll be back soon 💜💜💜💜

They’ve made a very nice hotel out of the remains of an old industrial building. The service was warm and generous, and the room price felt fair for what you get. Loved staying here and would come again. Thanks!

The room was nicely equipped, and we stayed for two nights before Passover. Breakfast wasn’t satisfying, though it was already kosher. The hotel sits in the middle of a tourist area with shops and restaurants. It has around 30 regular two-level rooms, plus 10 glamping tents, and a small pool that’s open in summer.
