The reception staff and management were awful to deal with, especially when problems came up. Housekeeping was a serious issue: on two days no one came at all, they knocked despite the do not disturb sign, and one morning they arrived at 8.02 and woke my young children. The rooms were fine, but for a new hotel there was a lot of damage. The furniture looked okay, though the quality was poor, with drawer handles coming off and damp on the ceiling. They're lucky there isn't another hotel option in Modi’in.

The Jacob is a modern, stylish, comfortable hotel in the middle of Modi’in, an exciting new city that's apparently a big deal with locals. The bright design feels relaxing and exclusive, and the friendly, professional staff made sure our stay went smoothly. The hospitality was excellent, with a personal touch you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Give this new place a chance, I think you'll be won over. I'll be back.

The Chef treated us to a generous afternoon snack, and all the food was delicious. The staff and hospitality were far beyond what we expected. A good place to stay.

It's hard to beat the location, near both the train station and city mall, with the airport just two train stops away. The hotel is clean and modern, and the workers are lovely. Definitely recommend!
