Hotel Boutique Alma

Alma is on a quiet street, which made it a peaceful place to stay. In Netanya, we noticed more construction noise as we got closer to the beach. The rooms were spotless every day, so thanks to the cleaning staff. Everyone was friendly, especially Alon, the manager, and Jonathan at reception. Breakfast was good, though I'd have liked more variety and different options on different weekdays. The coffee and cappuccino were excellent. It was our first visit to Netanya, and we loved the place.

The front desk was staffed around the clock, and the helpful multilingual team let us arrive late and check out at noon instead of 11 am. The location is handy, about a 7 to 10 minute walk to Netanya centre and the beaches, with a convenience store and restaurant next door. Our firm bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. The room also had a coffee machine, nondairy creamer, a microwave, and a fridge. Breakfast was included, with bread, Israeli salad, pickles, tahina, orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee, and an espresso machine. Soy milk was available on request.

The place was clean and efficiently run, with sleek, modern rooms. We had a two-room unit with a spacious bedroom, sitting area, and an excellent kitchenette. It's near downtown and the city market.

The rooms are spacious and pleasant, and breakfast was great. The beds didn't have much spring, though, and my girlfriend and I both left with sore backs.
