I’d paid for a room in Netanya, but they didn’t answer me at all. I sat in my car for five hours trying to get through by phone. In the end, at 10:00 PM, I had to ask them to cancel so I could find somewhere else.

Netanya is a really cool city, with lots of French and Russian speakers. Prices can get jacked up in touristy areas, so compare before you shop.

The apartments are lovely and compact, and the landlord is very responsive and easy to work things out with. The location is convenient, close to both the beach and the square.
