The setting is peaceful, away from the big hotels and crowds, right by the dead sea, with a lovely view and lovely people. The first beach for swimming is a 10-15 minute walk. We arrived well before check-in, but it was fine to leave our bags in the room. The room is basic, but it had what we needed. We couldn't even make a simple meal on the stove, though, after doing some grocery shopping. There was construction nearby, but we had no noise trouble at all. I'd definitely recommend the place.

I was surprised by how much I got for about half the price of a hotel room in nearby Ein Bokek, which is only one I'm away! The owner and everyone there were lovely, and the service was great. Highly recommended. Thanks, Desert Inn!

It was 43°C at the end of July, and the air conditioning was okay. The outside of the building isn't the best, but the room and bathroom were what I expected. Decent value for money.

The owner, originally from Slovakia, was helpful and happy to offer advice. The apartment was beautiful and very close to the Dead Sea, with a clean room and a small kitchen equipped with basics like a stove and fridge. There are other interesting places nearby too. I recommend it.
