My room had been booked while I was in Moscow, but nobody mentioned that my card wouldn’t work there until I got a call late at night, just hours before arriving in Israel. I asked whether cash payment was possible, and the person I spoke with said that was okay. Then, during the day while I was already at the airport, I got another call saying cash wasn’t acceptable because I’d be arriving at night. That left me without anywhere to stay in Israel and ruined my vacation. After being treated this way, I’m not sure I want to visit the country again.

I spent two nights here. It was okay for the price, and the contact was really friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything needed for a short stay, including a huge fridge, and hot water for Shabbos was available on demand. There’s a solid security door and cameras in the hallway, so I felt pretty safe. I did notice some room for improvement, though. I talked to the owner, and the next visitor should be fine.

Shocking service. We were meant to get married at a special event with Kalavi, with our families staying in rooms. The war forced us to cancel, and even though we asked to move our stay by two months, we were still charged. Such a shame!!!!

I had to carry my belongings around all Shabbat because I didn’t have a key and couldn’t leave valuables in the room. The room itself wasn’t clean either, there were hairs on the sheets.
