Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv - Diamond District by IHG

The staff at Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. My room was clean, stylish, and really comfortable, with small thoughtful touches that made the stay feel special. I had a wonderful time there.

The bed was the one thing I liked, since it was comfier than beds at other hotels nearby. The rest left me disappointed, especially the service from Asaf and Yali. A mix-up with my booking dates came up while I was in Israel for business and leisure. They spoke to each other in Hebrew, apparently assuming I couldn't understand, and said they had no energy to help. They discussed that it had happened before and argued over who was meant to handle it. I had to call IHG myself and pay another 250 shekel instead of getting help or accommodation from them. I'd stayed the week before, too, and one room's bathroom had a leak. They offered no compensation. They also take a deposit that takes a long time to release because of a smoking waiver. As an IHG member, I found all of this very disappointing. The hotel seems more suited to residents or an average business traveler in the diamond district than tourists.

Our luggage was delayed and lost by the airline, and the staff went out of their way to help us until it arrived two days later. We really appreciated that. The rooms were clean and safe, service was prompt and professional, and everyone was friendly.

Even as an IHG Platinum Elite member, the better room upgrade didn't make for a good stay. The room felt depressing, with old floors that had gaps, dark bathrooms, and a weird mechanical sound from the hallway at night. This place needs a major renovation. It doesn't feel luxurious or anywhere near a five-star hotel. Very disappointing.
