Villa Tehila

We spent a quiet, romantic night here for our anniversary, and I loved the place. Vila Tehila is a distinctive old farm style home, with a different kind of atmosphere and rooms that each have their own design. The staff were friendly, the pool was lovely, and breakfast was great. We’ll be back.

Don’t let the bed bugs bite. Three adults were squeezed into one tiny room. I slept on a pull out mattress that felt like it came from hell, and my whole body was covered in bite marks from insects of some kind. This is a health issue, and the health department will hear about it. Tehila charged close to 1200 shekels for this traumatic experience. Shame on you. She promised to refund my money, but all I got was a threatening email and no refund.

Our room had been a stable before it was renovated, in a villa set in an ancient farm building. The old structure and the distinctive furniture and accessories create a magical atmosphere. Breakfast was very good.

Parakeets, turtles, and other animals make their home in the central courtyard, around which the rooms are arranged. Villa Tehilla is an eclectic old inn in the historic old town of Rosh Pina in Northern Israel. Tehilla is a very welcoming proprietor, and the rooms have old fixtures and furniture. There’s a poster on our wall recalling the Hallel prayer passage, “The stone rejected by the builders has become the cornerstone (Rosh Pina).” Definitely worth a visit.
