Florentine Backpackers Hostel (age 18-40)

Florentine is close to everything, which made getting around really convenient. The beach is at most 10-15 minutes away. I personally loved this place and had the time of my life, meeting lots of amazing people. The staff are super nice and the volunteers are the sweetest. It is a party hostel, though, so it might not be the best choice if you want a quiet atmosphere. Love it :)

My friend and I made sure to come back after Jerusalem. This was definitely the best hostel we stayed at during our six-week trip. The staff are superb and make you feel at home, and all the volunteers keep the hostel clean and orderly. It's a party hostel in Florentine, but it doesn't get as loud or rowdy as some others. The rooms don't have keys, but you need a code to enter the hostel, so I felt secure. There's a basic free breakfast and a nice dinner for whatever tip you choose, which was especially handy on the Sabbath. Thank you Florentine!

This place seems worth it if you're after a good party, but otherwise I found it mediocre. The rooms are small, though it's nice they have AC. The sheets looked gross, with brown and yellow stains, but were clean. There are no lockers or door locks, so you have to trust the other travelers. The staff were accommodating, much like at other hostels I've stayed at that felt cleaner, more comfortable, and more secure. Not great when all you want is sleep, but good for partying.

The big rooftop terrace is the hostel's common area, a nice spot to relax, have a beer, or meet people. In the evening, it's lively, with everyone hanging out and having a good time. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and good for sleeping. It's a great place for young travelers and tourists.
