Golden Beach Hotel Tel Aviv

The room was very clean, breakfast was great, and the kitchen staff were great too. The reception staff weren't. The TV didn't work, and the AC struggled with the weather. There's an amazing balcony, but it was covered in bird poop, such a waste. Still, I'd come back. That fourth star is for the location, right on the beach, just across the street.

The room was clean, the AC worked great, and the balcony had a nice view, though there was some bird poop. It's modest in size, just enough space for the double bed, TV, small fridge, chair, and nightstands. Since I was on my own, I didn't mind. Breakfast was great and coffee was available all day. The only real downside was the TV, with literally just one working channel, in Russian, haha. The outside looked a bit weird and suspect, with an unlit sign and a junky-looking, unfinished area above it. There's a flight of stairs to the desk when you walk in, so ask staff to show you where the elevator is before lugging up a suitcase. Location is perfect, right by the beach, with a shawarma/falafel place next door, Aroma coffee around the corner, and Carmel Shuk a 10-15 minute walk away.

Friendly, helpful staff and a really good breakfast. The rooms are tidy and in decent shape, and most have a nice balcony overlooking the beach. It's a nice hotel that covers most of what you need for a stay in Tel Aviv.

We had a good stay despite a few drawbacks. The location is amazing, right across from the beach, with most of the lively spots within 3 km. The rooms and toilets are very ordinary, breakfast was average, and some staff could be tough or rude. If you want a budget hotel, though, this is a good fit.
