Carmel Market is a lively, colorful place in Tel Aviv, with much more than fruit, vegetables, and meat. You can also browse clothes, children's clothes, shoes, glasses, accessories, and toys. Little restaurants and food stalls fill the market, and the whole place feels busy and fun. Don't miss a visit.

The food stalls let you taste a bit of everything, and you'll find both authentic wares and more ordinary stuff. The atmosphere is amazing, almost like stepping back in time. A must-see in Tel Aviv, though the experience is hard to put into words. Just go!

It's normal to negotiate here, and even kids do it. Try whatever catches your eye, and buy it if you like it. There are lots of great sellers who want to make a sale but still act professionally, though some are less professional. If you're a girl, guys will definitely want to talk to you.

There are interesting, quality goods at decent prices, plus good food and fresh produce. I loved this eclectic bazaar; it's exactly the kind of market you hope to find, with a wonderful mix of well-priced things. If you're in Tel Aviv, it's a must. I'd come back if I'm ever in the country again.

The market is usually packed, so keep an eye on your belongings. It's open six days a week and closed on Shabbat, and has been here since 1920. I had really delicious food, from cauliflower to Yemenite mallawah. There are also lots of gift and souvenir options, and it's fun to walk around Carmel Market.
