Hostel BU93

Don't go there. It's disgusting, and staff come into your room smoking. We paid extra to stay until the end of the day, but they threatened to call the police if we didn't leave in the morning. My friend had cash stolen from her bag. My phone had been taken out of my handbag when I returned, as if someone had checked whether I had money in my purse. When we tried to talk to the manager about the stolen money, he called my friend “houzpanit.” Don't trust the photos. There are much nicer places in Tel Aviv for the same price.

Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. A whole set of reviews has been deleted now, but here's what I found: the place was moldy and smelly, really bad even for the low price. It was dirty, with cigarette butts in the bed and a moldy banana under it. Nothing was maintained. Of the four lights, only one worked, and the bed legs were broken. Everything you touched seemed already broken. Just a dump.

Friendly staff, clean kitchen, clean hot water, good service, and reasonable prices. There's bus service nearby and supermarkets too. People stay for a day or two and then criticize it. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

Just okay as a hostel. Ten people are crammed into a small room with five double-decker beds, for 89 shekels per bed. There's no breakfast, and it's very hard to find. Other hostels are much better, closer to the beach, and cost the same.
