My partner and I stayed here in August 2024. It’s a nice, affordable hostel, and the location is okay, very close to Old Jaffa, though the area near the stadium felt a bit sketchy. Our double room had no window, but it did have air conditioning. The bathrooms were on our floor, along with a nice kitchen and dining area. Everything looked pretty and was clean and tidy. The checkout morning was the problem: nobody was at reception, and we waited more than an hour to get our deposit back. We’d planned to catch an early bus and had to change our plans for the day. It’s an affordable, okay place to stay, but the laid-back setup isn’t always a good thing.

The place looks fine if you’re on a tight budget, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere was pretty good. I especially liked that it’s within a reasonable walk of Old Jaffa. The staff deserve credit: they were friendly and laid-back, but took guest safety seriously. Another guest made me feel extremely unsafe, so I complained. They acted immediately and kicked him out. I’m very grateful, and I’d likely stay here again if I needed a place in the area.

It’s quiet and spacious, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. The location is good, near Jaffa market and Bloomfield Arena, with public transport all around.

The hostel is about a 10-minute walk from the beach and Old Jaffa, and the location is incredible. The common room, kitchen, and bedrooms all look amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a great stay at Jungle Jaffa, strongly recommend it, and I’ll be back soon.
