Sapir hostel is my favorite in Tel Aviv by far. The location and price are hard to beat, and the staff are kind and hardworking, happy to answer questions or sort out issues as best they can. Just remember it’s a hostel, not a hotel. It has a hippy vibe that some people will like and others won’t. To those who left bad reviews, learn the difference between hotels and hostels!

There’s a great backpacker and tourist vibe here, and the staff were friendly and resourceful. It’s half a block from the beach, with a lovely five-minute walk to shuk hacarmel and kerem hateimanim, where there’s fresh Israeli food and lots of low-cost souvenir shopping. Highly recommended!

A lovely spot for a weekend away, with clean rooms and the beach just a two-minute walk. You can hear traffic from the rooms, though it isn’t too bad.

The hostel is just 100 meters from the beach and was the cheapest option in Tell Aviv. It’s in a pleasant, quiet area with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, including Super Cofix. There’s a direct bus to Ben Guiron Airport every hour from a stop about 500 meters away. Worth every penny.
