Laguardia Hotel

I booked because it was one of the few places with what seemed like a reasonable rate for a single room. The room was clean enough, but the stay was very unpleasant and poor value for money. The room was on the third floor with no elevator. It faced a major junction by highways and railways, which felt sketchy at night. Traffic noise went on constantly, and the hallway smelled awful, like sweat, weed, and cigarettes. A basic sliding door separated my room from the next one, so I could literally hear the neighbors breathe. Avoid this place.

I paid over $100 for a king studio bedroom and ended up in a small room with a full size bed. The TV didn't work, the mirror in the bathroom was broken, the room smelled of smoke, and traffic noise lasted all night. The staff made me feel as if they were paying me to stay there. They were extremely rude and didn't speak English. There's no elevator, so you'll have to carry your luggage upstairs. This was some of the worst customer service I've had. I won't come back. If you're reading this, DO NOT BOOK here!

The service was poor, and the AC in my room didn't work.

The AC in my room wasn't working at first, but the staff fixed it quickly. They did get me a cab, though no one let me know when it arrived. The entrance from the street wasn't obvious, and it was locked when I first got there. Staff didn't speak English, so don't stay unless you know at least some Hebrew. There was no elevator or phone in the room, and I had to walk up. There was no soap or hand towels either. Some rooms have no window.
