Lighthouse Tel Aviv a member of Brown Hotels

Parking was a bit of a challenge, and the usual Tel Aviv bustle and construction noise outside weren't much fun. Even so, we'd gladly come back. The room was nice and had a partial sea view, and finding delicious cakes waiting for us was a lovely welcome. Breakfast had a wonderful selection, including vegan choices. We absolutely adored our stay. From the moment we arrived, everything seemed thoughtfully considered, and the experience exceeded our expectations. It's a gem in the heart of Tel Aviv.

The hotel rooms and interior were clean, and our room was spacious. The surrounding area, though, was dirty. The location is excellent, about a two-minute walk from the beach. Service could be better. The staff speak other languages fluently, but we would have appreciated being able to speak Hebrew with them. When we asked for a corkscrew, the receptionist said they didn't have one and couldn't access other parts of the hotel to look for one. It felt like a cold, unhelpful response.

After hours of being told there were no other rooms, and after they moved us three times, we finally got a normal room at 4 in the morning. We arrived with friends and were put in a broken room without air conditioning. The window was broken and there were cockroaches on the floor. We didn't get a refund, of course.

The restaurant staff made breakfast a lovely start to each day. Executive manager Gal led things smoothly, remembered my favorite hot drinks, and was always smiling and empathetic. I also enjoyed chatting with her. Annam and the other lovely women serving breakfast made me feel cared for. Edward kept the restaurant clean, looked smart and fresh in his uniform, and was friendly and smiling, especially when I was eating alone. I've stayed at this hotel for more than four weeks, and the welcome from the receptionists helped me relax after a long trip. My special thanks go to Alex, who always helped with a warm smile and understanding, and sorted out my requests straight away. Halima took wonderful care of my room. She's an amazing person, and it was always a pleasure to meet her and chat or simply say hello. She smiled, asked what I needed, and left the room shining with her thoughtful attention to detail. Staying here was a delightful experience.
