I still consider this bad practice and am keeping my negative review, even though the bank returned the money after 30 days. The hotel charged me an extra 600ILS (190$) as a “deposit” and said it would be returned to my card at checkout. When it didn’t come back, they told me by phone that it had been released from their end and I should take it up with my bank. I had to file a claim and was still waiting for the result when I wrote this.

I stayed here in 2019 during my solo Israel-Poland trip. It was a good hotel, and Tel Aviv is awesome! I gave it 4.5 because they said they’d return the extra money I paid after losing the small visa paper I got on arrival in Israel, which they told me meant I had to pay hotels extra. But when I emailed them, I got no response. It wasn’t a big deal, which is why I still gave it 4.5 stars.

The staff went out of their way to make a short, hectic visit for a quick wedding at the Hilton as good as it could be. They were fantastic, helpful, and accommodating, and treated me like I owned the place. The hotel is right next door to the Tel Aviv museum, which is Israel’s finest. It’s just seven bus stops from the beach hotels, and the ride cost $2. Those beach hotels are more than twice the price, so this is a must stay. 10/10.

This was my second stay at the Link and Hub Hotel in Tel Aviv, and both visits were fantastic. The staff felt professional and personable at the same time, and made me feel right at home. The front desk team were friendly and helpful, and the managers I had the pleasure of meeting were unbelievably kind and helpful. The room staff kept me stocked with clean towels and water, something I haven’t seen at an American hotel. Looking forward to my next stay!
