They made me leave the protected space once the bomb alarm had ended. I’m not a hotel guest, but that response was unacceptable and unprofessional, especially toward someone who experienced a psychological attack after 7 october. Such a disgrace, counting the coffee cups and cookies people had used at a critical time.

Ofar, the manager, was especially kind and went out of his way to make me feel at home, even helping print urgent documents with a smile. The staff were welcoming, and the hotel itself is calm, clean, modern, and stylish. Margosa Hotel is in Yafo, with the beach, old city, and Tel Aviv skyline all just a short walk away. It’s a comfortable boutique stay at a reasonable price, with a lovely local feel. A great choice for Tel Aviv.

My wife and I stayed one night to get a feel for old Jaffa, and we’d be glad to return. There’s a pleasant breakfast room, and cold drinks and snacks are available free all day. Our room was clean and nice, and you can get a balcony if one is available. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the flea market and atmospheric restaurants, and ten minutes from the old Jaffa shore and harbor.

We had a wonderful two-night stay. The staff were very kind and went out of their way when we had a couple of requests, and breakfast was great. Our comfortable room had a balcony with different city views on each side. We could see the Mediterranean, catch the sunrise each morning, and also watch the sunset. The hotel is near the old Tel Aviv area, with markets and restaurants all around. Walking there at night was lovely and felt comfortable.

The front desk attendant was helpful and really nice. My room was small but had what I needed and was very clean. I liked the full-length mirror and the nice shower, and the balcony was a welcome touch. The bed creaks a bit and isn’t very plush. I’m still unsure about the location. They described the place as boutique, which I suppose fits.
